Trans and queer youth show up for each other. We always have.

As a youth-driven organization, we push our peers and schools to be better.  And we resist the idea that the comfort of the majority cannot be compromised so we can create comfort and safety for all.

GSA Network is ready to protect our community through the power of youth voice, youth leadership, and youth organizing; defend the life-saving protections that we’ve fought for and gained; and resist the tide of hate, intolerance, and violence that has been on the rise since the Presidential Elections in November.

Your support can help us carry out our vision and goals in 2017!

You can dedicate your gift to one of these youth leadership programs:

TRUTH Project: TRUTH is currently the only national, trans youth-led program that focuses on developing trans and gender nonconforming youth leaders, spokespeople, and trainers for the LGBTQ+ movement. TRUTH is a collaborative campaign between Genders & Sexualities Alliance Network and the Transgender Law Center.

QYLTS Action Camp: Queer Youth Leading the South Action Camp is the only gathering of its kind in the region, an intense, interactive summer camp designed for queer and trans youth and allies living in the South. QYLTS is hosted in partnership with organizers from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Youth Organizing and Advocacy in California: 1000+ youth leaders gain practical skills in organizing, advocacy, and leadership that supports them in creating positive school climates and reforming school discipline policies that disproportionately push LGBTQ+ youth of color out of school and into the juvenile justice system. Youth get trained through on-site visits in their schools, summits in their local communities and regional conferences.

Make it count on Give OUT Day! Schedule your $10, $25, $50, or $100 contribution for April 20th!

Make a gift today and follow us on Facebook and Twitter as we support the development of trans youth leaders to tell their own stories in their own way, deepen our presence in schools and communities where the rights of LGBTQ+ students are being denied, and ensure the rights of students of all genders and sexualities, continuing to empower this next generation of trans and queer youth that is leading and redefining the GSA movement.

GSA Network is a next-generation LGBTQ racial and gender justice organization that empowers and trains trans, queer, and allied youth leaders to advocate, organize, and mobilize an intersectional movement for safer schools and healthier communities. In California, GSA Network connects over 1,000 GSA clubs through regional summits and youth councils. Nationally, GSA Network leads the National Association of GSA Networks which unites 40 statewide networks of GSA clubs, and GSAs Unite, an online campaign and petition platform supporting youth organizers across the country.
